The USSA fosters professionalism, education, and the exchange of ideas through its annual meeting with deployed service members practicing anesthesia in harm’s way. The USSA is a unique organization in that we are called from all branches of the Armed Services as well as the Uniformed Corps of the Public Health Service and some very dedicated civilians whose sole purpose is to provide excellent anesthesia care for those who have chosen to put themselves in harm’s way, as well as their loved ones.
